On July 23, 2022 a house fire destroyed Chloe's Pet Rescue. Co-Founders Leslie Engelmann and Cathy Denton shared Cathy's home in Blue Ridge TX. Cathy and 34 of their personal and foster dogs lost their lives that day. 30+ dogs in the dog building survived as did Leslie. Cathy loved animals as much as life itself.
